Conditions of service.

Bookings and Payments:

-All bookings are considered provisional until confirmed by an email or phone call from the rental company.

-A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. Full payment is due prior to departure.

-The deposit may be refundable if the client does not agree with the alternative date offered by Rental Boat Marbella, in case we are unable to provide the boat selected by the client or on the agreed date.

-Only credit cards or cash payments are accepted. Cash payments can be paid to the owner on the day of delivery of the boat.

-Cash payments are not subject to additional charges.

-Cancellations must be made at least 3 days in advance, otherwise charges will be applied or the booking amount will be forfeited.

Cancellations and Refunds:

-Cancellations must be made at least 3 days in advance in order to be eligible for a full refund.

-Cancellation fees will apply for cancellations made within 3 days prior to departure date.

-No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 72 hours prior to departure or for no-shows.

• **Refund of 50% of the reservation up to one week before check-in:**

  In case of cancellation up to one week before check-in, 50% of the reservation amount will be refunded.

  **100% refund in case of cancellation by mistake within 24 hours after payment of the reservation. Provided that there are more than 9 days left for your booking:**

  In the case of cancellation by mistake, made within 24 hours after payment of the booking and provided that there are more than 9 days left for the date of the booking, a 100% refund will be made.

  **No refund if cancellation is made less than one week prior to check-in:**

  In the event of a no-show at the scheduled time, this time will be forfeited!

  **In bad weather situations on the booked date:**

  In bad weather situations observed by the sailor on the booked date, Rental Boat Marbella management will provide alternative charter date options in the near future. If it is not possible to charter on any of these dates during the current season, a booking voucher valid for one year will be issued for use in the following season.

  Conditions will be determined by a wave height greater than 1.3 metres or winds greater than 20 knots.

Rental Conditions:

-The renter must be of legal age and possess a valid boating licence as required by the rented vessel.

-The renter must comply with all maritime laws and regulations during the rental period.

-A pre-departure orientation and safety session is required for all renters.

-The renter is responsible for any damage or loss of equipment during the rental period.

Safety and Responsibility:

-Life jackets will be provided for all passengers and must be worn at all times while on board.

-Operation of the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

-The charter company is not responsible for personal injury or property damage during the charter period.

Weather Conditions:

-The charter company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the departure in the event of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen situations.

-A full refund or alternative rescheduling will be offered in the event of cancellation due to weather conditions.

-By signing the rental agreement, the renter agrees to comply with these terms and conditions in full. The rental company reserves the right to change these terms at any time without notice.
